The Basil Charles Educational Foundation is run in a very disciplined way - every cent goes towards scholarships and none of the money goes to administration. Since it’s inception in 1996, several 5-year scholarships have been granted to children from all over St Vincent.
A scholarship helps these needy kids who would otherwise be idle or working in unskilled jobs, instead of attending school. The real difference between the Basil Charles Educational Foundation and more traditional scholarships is that this scholarship is based on need, not just academics.
